Resilience… A Matter of the Heart and the Mind

John Moodie will explain why it’s not about long-term enduring… but your ability to bend instead of breaking during difficult times! It’s not just desirable, it’s actually essential.

Resilience is about how you bounce back from difficulties and develop strategies to maintain a healthy life and business.

Resilience is central to building a high performing, agile workforce that can respond to changing demands. It enables organisations to build strength from within, and the success of an organisation’s ability to do this will impact its ability to ride the ebbs and flows of this sometimes-crazy world.

John will provide proven workable strategies for building resilience in yourself, your people and your businesses.

It’s the ability to bend instead of breaking.

Diagnosed with a terminal illness, John was facing death. People would have certainly understood if he had accepted the inevitable and waited for his number to be called. As he is alive and kicking today, you know he achieved a different outcome. Something kept him going, made him stronger and got him through those darkest hours.

Everyone who has been in business has experienced challenges and struggles, and moments when giving up seemed like a viable… or perhaps the only solution!

Maybe that’s you, in your life… right now?

Not just a ‘survivor’ but a ‘thriver’ John shares his very personal story of the power that resilience has played in his life. A leader in his field, he has many outstanding achievements to his credit. Growing his first business to success over 25 years ago, John has since led, coached and educated thousands of people to improve their lives and their businesses.

Resilience is a spark that resides in everyone. John will help you recognise it and tap into it, to not only get you through the hard times, but to make the good times even better – and to help you learn to bend rather than break.
